The time has come(ing) for SpicyHorse to begin Linux beta testing. The team will have a build ready mid-to-late next week. And so, as they are completely new to the needs of Linux users (American is the Linux guy), they are asking you to contact Ophelea if you’re interested in working with them as a beta tester.
This is the information we do have:
“The repositories are not yet ready but these are the platforms that will be supported at launch:
- Ubuntu_12.10 (i586, x86_64)
- Ubuntu_12.04 (i586, x86_64)
- openSUSE_12.3 (i586, x86_64)
- openSUSE_12.2 (i586, x86_64)
- openSUSE_12.1 (i586, x86_64)
- Fedora_18 (i586, x86_64)
- Fedora_17 (i586, x86_64)”
What SpicyHorse needs from each of you interested in beta testing, is to contact Ophelea at [email protected] and put “Linux tester” in the subject line. All of your names will go into a mailing list, contacting you once everything is ready to go.
Feel free to ask questions here. Just expect answers to take a little longer. They are not familiar with the language of Linux, but they will learn.
