Alwa’s Legacy metroidvania adventure game delayed until Q2 2020 for Linux, Mac and Windows PC. Thanks to a recent update from developer Elden Pixels. Which was also going to release soon on Steam.
Alwa’s Legacy is a modern retro metroidvania adventure game. Also, the follow up to Alwa’s Awakening. Which was supposed to release in April. But according to a more recent Kickstarter update, the game is delayed.
- Alwa’s Legacy is still on schedule to launch in Q2 of 2020 (not in April though). Once we’re 100% certain about a launch date we’ll announce it
- Our goal is to launch on Switch and on Steam (PC, Mac and Linux). HOPEFULLY on the same day
So the positive news here, we can look forward to a same day Linux release. Although there is a “hopefully” in the statement. We know that Elden Pixels have that goal in mind.
But this delay is partially due to COVID-19 and getting things “manufactured”. Since the developer is conscious of the world crisis right now. Plus you have to give the dev’s props for holding off.
