art of rally is getting new cars and improvements in the Heritage update for Linux gaming, Mac and Windows PC. Thanks to indie game dev Funselektor. Who just announced new changes coming very soon. Due to arrive on Steam and GOG.

art of rally is an epic racing game. Which also features both a single player campaign and online leaderboards challenges.
Where players travel all across the world. While driving through beautiful and soothing environments. Taking inspiration from Finland, Sardinia, Norway, Japan and Germany.

Players alos choose from a large pool of iconic rally cars from the 60’s to the 90’s. So you can taking the tightest art of rally hairpins with options to fine tune the stability. Maybe use the counter steer and anti-lock braking assist. As well as choosing automatic or manual transmission.

Now with the new Heritage update coming on December 14th, there will be 8 new cars. Group 2 will include le gorde and la regina. While group 3 is coming with la hepta, the pebble v1, the pebble v2, and the zetto. And finally group 4 will get the la super montaine and la longana. Not to mention ghost cars to beat the fastest times.

This new update will offer player created liveries. Which can be downloaded from Race Department. These liveries can be created from the Funselektor templates. Doing so with a .psd editor (gimp, etc.), then exported as a png to add to the game files.

art of rally already comes with an epic Career mode. Taking players back in time during the golden years of rally. Ranging from the early 60’s to the iconic Group B regulation era. Including 60 stages and 50+ vehicles as you progress to the top. Once you get to those high scores then take photos in the new photo mode. Which is coming in the new update. Letting you load these pictures into the polaroids in the main menu. So you can relive your favorite moments every time you start the game.

On top of this, more improvements include jump landings being less bouncy. Letting you rotate cars in the main menu with the right thumbstick on controllers. As well as allowing players to view previous daily and weekly art of rally leaderboards.

Plus the game is getting new cars and improvements. The Heritage update is due to arrive on December 14th in Linux gaming, Mac and Windows PC.
