Beamdog will be conducting voice overs form Dice Camera Action for upcoming DLC on Linux, Mac and Windows. While this is a bold initiative from the video game developer. Waffle Crew cast members play host to the D&D Livestream.

So Beamdog are now recording voice over packs for the Enhanced Edition Family of games. Waffle Crew portrait and voice-over packs will be available as DLC. Also coming to the following games on Steam, Beamdog and GOG. Even Google Play and App Store:

From a personal perspective, this is a pleasure to see Beamdog involved in the D&D community. What impresses me are the cast members. Some of which you might recognize from past Twitchcon’s.

Cast members include Holly Conrad, Jared Knabenbauer, Anna Prosser Robinson and Nathan Sharp. Who also began recording in Seattle this week. “It’s so exciting that the characters we’ve created will come to life in these iconic games,” said Holly Conrad. “We worked with the Beamdog writers to develop dialogue that remains true to the Waffle Crew. While still maintaining the classic style of Baldur’s Gate and Neverwinter Nights.”

Beamdog CEO, Trent Oster, hopes the voice-over and portrait packs will attract new audiences. Introducing Beamdog’s Dungeons & Dragons Enhanced Editions. And also providing a fun option for existing players.

“Dice Camera Action! is successful because of the lovable personalities on the show. Holly’s been a huge supporter of titles we’ve released and we love her work. Especially her epic Lady of Pain cosplay. We’re honored the Waffle Crew has agreed to lend their talent to Beamdog’s Enhanced Edition titles. And we think fans will enjoy the end result.”

The DLC voice over and portrait pack will release later this in 2018 on Steam, Beamdog, Google Play, GOG and App Store. No official release dates yet. But this is also a huge plus for Linux gaming too.
