Beholder 2 official release date will be December 4th, coming to Linux, Mac and Windows. Since Warm Lamp Games and Alawar Premium, a division of Alawar Entertainment are proud to announce the good news. The games going to be available on Steam. Preorders are discounted 20% already on Humble Store.
This time, Beholder 2 is going to release in a 3D format. Since gameplay takes place in the same grim and hopeless dystopian Beholder universe. While things like privacy is dead and a totalitarian State controls every aspect of life. All ruled by the same “Wise Leader.” The game will also feature an expansive world full of new scenes, rooms, floors inside the actual Ministry.
The Linux release as we already know is coming on day one. As outlined via a Steam Discussion post. I still keep my fingers cross that this will indeed be the case.
Since I can confirm that Beholder 2 does run well via Steam Play using Proton. This is a Unity 3D based game. So we should be good.
