Into the Breach is a single-player game coming to Windows, Linux and Mac (although not simultaneously). The games official release is available now for Windows. But coming to Linux, soon.
“No word on the Linux version yet – We’re a small team and our hands will be full with tech support for a little while. Hopefully it’ll calm down soon and we can move on to porting.”
So this bit of news comes directly from Subset Games. We already announced details that there will not be a simultaneous release last year.
Into the Breach follows remnants of human civilization. Those who are also taking refuge from gigantic creatures breeding beneath the earth. As the player, you must control powerful mechs from the future. While holding back the alien threat. Each attempt to save the world presents a new randomly generated challenge in this turn-based strategy game.
