CATHEDRAL 3-D arena shooter due to get support in Linux gaming with Windows PC. Thanks to recent news from the developer Unfinished Games. The game is currently available right now on Steam.

FEARDEMIC is a wholly owned subsidiary of BLOOBER TEAM S.A, and Mateusz Belicki. Otherwise known as developer UNFINISHED GAMES. Who is also an independent development studio based in Gdansk, Poland. They are eager to announce the release CATHEDRAL 3-D. Which is a singleplayer arena shooter that is getting okay reviews on Steam. Even making comparisons to Devil Daggers. But some reviews are mentioning bugs and things that need to be fixed. While others appreciate the gameplay and have learned how to play the game.

That being said, with a love for arena shooters and games like Serious Sam. It looks like the developer Unfinished Games does have support plans for Linux gaming.

The engine is written in C and uses OpenGL for rendering. This allows the game to have a fairly reasonable portability. We’re currently working on releasing GNU/Linux and Mac builds as well. The game was built with portability in mind so I don’t expect any major problems with ports.

Since this is positive news for CATHEDRAL 3-D and a Linux port. The developers are currently focusing their time on Windows PC. This is due to simply ironing out bugs and patches. So that means we will have to wait. But a more stable port for Linux too. And maybe even some further improvements to the game.
