Cheap Golf is a shotgun marriage of low-poly minigolf and surreal humor on Linux, Mac and Windows. Which is now available on Steam and Itch, priced at $4.99 USD.
Players will make their way through over 140 levels of retro-flavored golf madness in Cheap Golf. While diving deeper into the rabbit hole with a mysterious AI bot named SUSAN. The host and narrator of the game.
SUSAN is also hungry for knowledge about humanity. And achieves this by collecting trillions of FELTHINKS through the player’s mouse. Through processing (eating) feelthinks. Since she can internally model the entire human experience.0 Which leads to more interesting minigolf levels. And in turn generate tastier feelthinks in this singleplayer game.

You’ll fling a little square boop around dozens of mazes. Since they come full of moving walls, chomping deathtraps, bouncy bumpers, and teleporters. Also expect things like keys, doors, and anything else that you can imagine. And also put into place without much hassle.
Since developer Pixeljam are booping around wacko mazes by using HAXE. This is an open-source language that can compile to almost any platform. Which also has solid community support and is not bound to corporate interests whatsoever. When you support HAXE, you are subtly sticking it to the man. Which is popular these days.
Cheap Golf started as a 1-week Kickstarter campaign in November of 2017. And since then has slowly evolved over the past year into a multi-disciplinary comedy-art project. Which encompasses games, social media, music and Youtube commentary.
“A very odd, easily played, and definitely interesting project, it’s a decent amount of fun, and aurally it shines”
-John Walker, Rock Paper Shotgun
