Children of Morta has a new trailer for Mac and Windows PC, we also have a Linux support update. Thanks to developer Dead Mage. Who are preparing for their release on Steam, GOG and Humble Store.
Publisher 11 bit studios and developer Dead Mage are thrilled to announce the highly-anticipated roguelike RPG, Children of Morta will be arriving on PC this September 3, 2019. The Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 versions of the game will launch on October 15, 2019. To celebrate the launch date announcement, you can check out the all-new trailer below.
Linux Support Update:
We would LOVE to have the Linux version of Children of Morta available very soon.
To be honest with you. With all the workload the whole team has had. We haven’t had the time to test it on the platform lately. If things go a bit smoother from now till the launch on Sep 3rd. We will test the Linux build and in case there weren’t major issues. We’d have it available on the launch date.
We believe there shouldn’t be major issues in porting to Linux.

So there you have it. Since I keep receiving more and more details about the release. It’s a pleasure working with Dead Mage. As the team is honest and upfront about their support plans. And likewise, realistic about a day one release. As a result, the chances are looking good.
