Counter-Strike: Global Offensive aka. CS:GO is now Free to Play on Steam for Linux, Mac and Windows. While also introducing Danger Zone the fast-paced battle royale game mode built into CS:GO’s tactical gameplay. Then using skills and resources to fight to the finish. You can either play solo, or work together as a squad of two or three.

So now that Counter-Strike: Global Offensive is free to play. Then it is easier than ever to get into the game again. Since all of the players who previous played CS:GO, now receive a commemorative Loyalty Badge. Which can be displayed on your profile.
But the biggest payoff if you own the game already, existing CS:GO players will have their accounts upgraded to Prime Status.
Danger Zone Explained (Linux, Mac, Windows)
If you don’t know what Prime Status is, this service matches you with other Prime Status players. Also giving you access to a new gift, MP5-SD | Lab Rats. This is available by earning XP while playing Danger Zone matches.
Also note, to earn a Souvenir MP5-SD | Lab Rats, you need to have Prime Account Status. Plus earning that 250 XP in Danger Zone. And this souvenir is available for all players until January 9th, 2019. And if you own the base game already, get cracking on that XP.
You can play with friends by joining their lobby in the main menu. Since you can play Danger Zone as a two or three-player squad. And you’ll be matched against other squads. Players can also have up to 120HP now.
