Dandy Ace fast paced roguelike support depends on demand in Linux gaming alongside Windows PC via Kickstarter. Thanks to developer Mad Mimic. Which is still crowdfunding on Kickstarter, currently 45% funded. Due to end on September 24 2020 8:00 AM EDT. Along with a free Demo on Steam.

Dandy Ace is an over the top fast paced roguelike. Gamepaly follows a fabulous magician seeking to combine and use his magical cards. All while fighting and looting his way to defeat the Green Eyed Illusionist, Lele. Who has also imprisoned him in a cursed mirror. Battling your way through Lele’s ever changing palace. So combine different cards with more than a thousand possibilities. Each with their own playstyles and powers. Every run provides new challenges and combinations for players. So you can explore and progress closer to Lele.

All of this is well and good, but what about Linux support for Dandy Ace?

For now there is no plan for porting it to Linux. But if there is a lot of demand from players. We can surely change that.
The game is being made on Unity!

This is the reply in the Steam discussion post. Since Unity 3D is the game engine of choice. This would also mark the first release in Linux gaming from the studio to hit Steam. Due to make it’s debut in February 2021. Also working it’s way up to full funding on Kickstarter. There are high hopes here.
