Dead Cells roguevania gets a full native release

dead cells roguevania has a full native release for linux and mac on steam

Dead Cells is now officially available on Linux and Mac. All thanks to the work and effort of Motion Twin, releasing on Steam and apparently GOG.

Here is the official word from the Steam Update:

That said, we’ve just pushed the 9th update out for everyone! It’s great news for our Linux and Mac users out there, but also for those among you who might want to treat Dead Cells as a toolbox to getting creative and sharing their Dead Cells with the rest of the community.

We are indeed bringing basic, limited, partial mod support to the game. It’s not in the beta branch, but we consider this to be in its first, very early, alpha state. Basically you will be able to tweak some gameplay and cosmetic stuff. But not everything. More details in this 20 page document written by our very own Quittouff, the dev who made it possible.

Patch notes is available here.

Dead Cells Roguevania – You’ll get better (Linux, Mac, Windows)

Dead Cells is a progressive exploration roguevania in an interconnected world. Including the replayability of a rogue-lite and the adrenaline pumping threat of permadeath. So be forwarned, this is tough but fair combat.
Also including more than fifty weapons and spells with unique gameplay. Saving the day with a panic roll to get you out of trouble.

Once unlocked, special permanent abilities allow you to access new paths. But choose the path that suits your current build or play style. While exploring secret rooms, hidden passages and charming landscapes.
