Descenders out now on Steam Early Access for Linux, Mac and Windows. The games release also comes with a launch week discount. So I’m hyped. Downhill mountain biking and Linux support. Yes please.
Descenders is all about extreme downhill free-riding. The games development studio RageSquid releases their Early Access build. Which is also coming to Xbox Game Preview as well. Not that we play on console, but it’s coming.
Published by UK label No More Robots. Descenders throws players into the high-octane world of downhill biking, where every jump, whip and scrub will earn Rep points for you and your team – but with the risk that you might lose it all with just one badly timed landing.
Descenders Early Access Trailer (Linux, Mac, Windows)
Since gameplay has a deep physics system. This also includes full controller support. Which allows players to string together incredible trick combos. So you can make your stylish descent down the mountain.
Controller support means a more distinct gameplay. While you attempt to reach the bottom with as few scratches as possible.
Procedurally generated worlds mean that no two runs are ever the same. While nerve-racking Boss Jumps truly sort the casuals from the pros. There are no upgrade modifiers and power-ups. Instead, players must progress through skill alone. That is if you want to lead the team to glory. And become the next legend.
Post-launch, players can expect regular updates to the game. This means new tweaks, bikes, kits and challenges. Also more modes, features and worlds to follow post-launch.
