Desert Revenant roguelike deck building game is due to evolve onto Linux with Windows PC. All due to further details from the creative work of developer Kreationware. Due to make its way onto Steam Early Access.
Kreationware has announced that their exciting new indie title Desert Revenant is going to be a part of Steam Next Fest. Which will also be offering players an all new demo. Doing so along with developer streams at 6pm – 9pm GMT (2pm – 5pm EST) on June 13th and June 18th.
Linux Support Plans:
We’re currently using Unreal Engine 4 and yes, you can expect to see a Linux port. However, it will definitely be after Early Access and closer to the full release of the game. So it could be in Q1 or Q2 2023.
While Unreal Engine 4 is a more native Linux version of Desert Revenant. It will likely mean that the community will have to resort to Proton for the duration of Early Access. Which is due to last no more than a year. And as stated, the full release with Linux support is due in Q1 or Q2 2023. Making this detail more of a heads up than anything else.
