Drink More Glurp releases wacky physics summer games onto Linux, Mac and Windows PC. Thanks to developer CATASTROPHIC_OVERLOAD. Available now on Steam with a discount.

Yogscast Games and developers Catastrophic_Overload have an official launched. Since their wacky physics, sports(-ish), hotseat Party Game, Drink More Glurp releases. But due note, a controller is also required to play. Sadly keyboard and mouse gameplay is not supported.

Drink More Glurp is a physics intense hot seat party experience. Which also takes place in a distant world. And since aliens have copied Earth’s Summer Games. And as a result, got everything slightly wrong. The gameplay puts players in control of their own noodle armed galactic athlete. So you can run, jump, throw and compete in a “sporting” contest. For up to a wopping 20(!) local players. Which means having to use Steam Remote Play. But still, 20 players, woot!! Plus you also have a world of competitors via global leaderboards.

Drink More Glurp Launch Trailer

After watching Earth TV, Drink More Glurp’s aliens think great competition is all about paid sponsorships. Sponsors have seized control of events and twisted them to fit their brand’s agenda. While creating havoc for alien athletes. And keeping players constantly on their toes. What happens when Gravitol Weightloss lowers the world’s gravity. Or when Electromagnetic Rave gives competitors LASER HANDS?

  • Local multiplayer Party Mode for 2-20 Players
  • Thousands of possible event and sponsor combinations
  • Single player Challenge Mode with online leaderboards and replays
  • Silly Drink More Glurp physics
  • Now with MORE Glurp

Glurp makes for a great spectator game. Therefore, expect lots of shouting and cheering! Designed to keep the action going with drop in / drop out and defer turn features. One controller is all you need. And Steam Remote Play.

Drink More Glurp releases wacky physics summer games. Available now for Linux, Mac and Windows PC. All priced at $9.99 USD (£7.99, €8.99) plus a 10% discount until August 15th.
