Drox Operative 2 the new action RPG game debuts first trailer for Linux and Windows PC. Thanks to developer Soldak Entertainment. The game also due to release onto Steam Early Access soon.

Since Soldak Entertainment announced Drox Operative 2. This starship action RPG comes with warring alien races and fierce space battles. Also a dynamic, evolving galaxy, and co-op multiplayer. We have been waiting to get a first look at gameplay.

Eons ago the Drox crushed and enslaved the ancient races. The ruled the galaxy through their mighty Operatives. Elite starship captains with training to accomplish the impossible. Do so at whatever cost. Whether employing stealth or brute force, they were always deadly. Using these Operatives, the Drox, ruler of the galaxy for over 100,000 years. Eventually realizing their Operatives are a threat. Drox Operative 2 takes place after an attempted assassinate all of them. This is a failure. The following Galactic Civil War was so devastating that the Drox are now extinct. The Drox Operative guild, now fully independent, survived.

Newer races emerged and thrived in the power void … for a while. Then the ancients returned. The wars are devastating, but with the Drox Operatives on their side, the ancients get beaten back and a truce established.

Since the devastation, a 4th wave of sentient races are emerging in the galaxy. Unlike previous waves, there are thousands in Drox Operative 2. And no one knows anything about them. In the new space race, the ancient, mature, and young races are all scouting, colonizing, and expanding. Trying to take over the galaxy through diplomacy, technology, war, and any other means necessary.

Drox Operative 2 action RPG debuts soon on Early Access. Due to launch in the 1st quarter of 2021. However it will get a full release when it’s done. While making debut onto Early Access in the near future. Arriving on Linux, Mac and Windows PC.
