The End Is Nigh is a sprawling adventure platformer on Steam for Linux, Mac and Windows. So thanks to help of Ryan Gordon, the games official release from the Beta branch is here:

So if you have been eagerly awaiting a full Linux release. Now you can dive in and play the epic platformer. Which also seems to be a blend of Super Meat Boy and maybe Gish. That’s what comes to mind.

While the player takes control over Ash. Hence one of few “things” that have “survived” the “end of the world”. Follow Ash as he makes his way through a future of pain and suffering. Feel his stress levels rise. While tossing him into an endless swarm of decaying, mutant animal-like creatures.

So help aid his final epic morbid quest. To make a friend out of pieces of people he finds along his journey. Also you collect video game cartridges and tumors.
