Energy Invasion – an arcade game for Linux, Mac and Windows with a set release date for Steam. So expect to see the classic Breakout games availability on January 11th.
So, unlike the original game, your ball does not break blocks on its own. Therefore players can launch missiles in a chosen direction.
Since gameplay design is setup for dual stick controller. But the ability to control with the keyboard and mouse is also available.

While having just tried the game with a Steam Controller. It works well, the graphics and frame rate are as expected. Seeing this also a Unity 3D game. That being said, the price for the full release next week should be reasonable. Which also makes Energy Invasion a decent title to play if you want something casual. Or while stuck on “hold”.

Energy Invasion is set with a release date on Steam, January 11th. So the Steam price will be $2.99 USD with 15% discount for the first week.
While the extended soundtrack will be exclusively available on Steam for an additional $0.99 USD. The games also going to be available for Linux, Mac and Windows, day one.
