Award-winning international games label Team17 is excited. Since they have a new spooky prison for their sandbox escape hit The Escapists 2. So The Wicked Ward DLC is out now on Steam for Linux, Mac and Windows.
Since things have taken an odd turn in the locked off wings of an abandoned hospital. A mad scientist and his hoard of undead guard their terror-tory. While lurking the gothic halls. And outside, an ominous sky of thunder, rain, lightning blankets the surrounding woods. Once again, you’ll have to craft, fight and scheme your way to freedom. All in this spooky supernatural slammer. Your ghoul is to escape at all costs.

Also, The Wicked Ward DLC requires The Escapists 2 to play. The Escapists 2 is out now for Linux, Mac and Windows via Steam. While the Nintendo Switch™ version is currently in development. I’m just throwing that in the mix for those who one a Switch.
Alongside The Wicked Ward, the first DLC for The Escapists 2. Team17 we’ve released an update to the game itself, now version 1.1.0. Here are the patch notes for this update. Since this both prepares for the games DLC. But also fixes a number of issues.
The Wicked Ward DLC is just $3.99 / £2.79 / 3,99 €. Or part of the Season Pass which is available for purchase from Steam, priced at just $9.99 / £6.99 / 9,99 €.
So to be honest, I was half expecting to see a Sale for The Escapists 2, but alas. Yet the games new update will have a couple of changes for Linux. The major update being for crashes in Windowed mode.
