EVERSPACE 2 space shooter is coming to Linux, Mac and Windows PC, but now announces the Kickstarter date and demo. Thanks to developer ROCKFISH Games. Who due to release their crowdfunding campaign to aid development.
After ROCKFISH Games announced its new open-world space shooter EVERSPACE 2. Confirming not only Windows PC support but also Linux. As a result of the reveal at gamescom, Opening Night Live.
So now the independent German developer announced more details. Delaying the Kickstarter campaign to October 02, 2019.
While Steam Early Access of EVERSPACE 2 is coming at the end of 2020. The full version is coming to Linux, Mac and Windows PC, 2021. And also PlayStation® 4 and Xbox One scheduled for the second half of 2021.

“At gamescom and Pax West. Over 1500 space game fans played the EVERSPACE 2 demo. All were enthusiastic about it. That’s why we decided to exhibit at the Tokyo Game Show at the German Pavilion at short notice, too” says Michael Schade, CEO of ROCKFISH Games. “We will then incorporate the feedback into the finalization of the reward tiers. And the stretch goals of the Kickstarter campaign. In addition, we want to polish the demo a bit more. Add graphic options to support a wide range of gaming PC’s. So that our backers can get into exciting space battles later this year”.
So as yo know, the story of EVERSPACE 2 will continue. Long after the events of its successful predecessor. The game will offer not only even more immersive gameplay. But also a visually impressive open-world gaming experience.
Since the Kickstarter date is now scheduled from October 2nd to November 4th, 2019. There will also be a demo version of EVERSPACE 2 available. While good news, this is only available eligible backers. Releasing via Steam shortly after the campaign has ended for Windows PC. There is no mention of Linux support for the demo. But likely we will be able to run the game via Steam Play / Proton.
