Failsafe is a #firstperson, parkour-focused #adventure now on #Kickstarter for Linux, Mac and Windows PC. The campaign really highlight the deeper sense of how the game will look and play.
This is a debut title from indie studio Game Over, featuring the voices of Life is Strange actress Ashly Burch and Avatar: The Last Airbender‘s Dante Basco.

Failsafe follows Isra (Burch) and robot companion XJ (Basco), as Isra accompanies her uncle on a journey outside of their village. Game Over describes it as playing “the game plays like the better parts of Mirror’s Edge,” while drawing inspirations from Journey and Hayao Miyazaki’s storytelling. In gameplay videos, the Mirror’s Edge inspiration can be seen as Isra runs and tumbles through the game’s world in a first-person perspective.
Game Over is seeking just $80,000 to complete Failsafe, with pledge tiers beginning at $5 and extending to $1,500. Failsafe Kickstarter campaign ends on December 1st and the title is being developed for Linux, Mac and Windows PC, as well as PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, with an expected release of summer 2016.
