Final Upgrade factory building sim coming soon

final upgrade factory building sim coming soon to linux windows pc

Final Upgrade factory building sim is coming soon to Windows PC, but has Linux in mind. Thanks to developer Ivan Pestrikov. Coming to Steam in Q2 2020.

In Final Upgrade the hour is coming when the organics realize that space is too dangerous. Also too much for their fragile, ridiculous bodies.
But their raging thirst for resources is certainly insatiable. So who do you think they will send to space to fight? And also be sacrificed for resources? The organics will tell you to build huge factories. And as a result, an armada of spaceships for mining and transport. Letting you battle, capture new territories and research technology. If you skip a resource shipment, they will just erase your program.

So prepare for Final Upgrade, offering you EARLY ACCESS to a simulation. While allowing you to train your brilliant neural networks. Which is coming to Windows PC. But there are Linux details afoot.

I’m using Unity. The Linux version is definitely possible, but not at the game launch.
I’m a single indie dev, tons of things must be done before that.

Therefore, to explain further. Linux is “definitely possible” but not for the Early Access release. But this will take place further into development. Since the project will be developed over the period of 2 years. And since Unity 3D is the game engine, Final Upgrade should be playable via Proton. So there is a plus side, until we get a Linux port.
