The first screenshots from the next project by Minecraft creator Notch have emerged. He posted this tweet on Tuesday saying “Flashlights, for spelunking and fixing broken ships”. The screenshot is showing what looks like a soldier from Team Fortress 2 and some shadows. If you look around some on the server you can find 6 more screenshots, I’ve made thumbnails and linked to all of them here.
It’s really interesting to see a game in development this early, but it’s not surprising given Notch’s development style. It will be interesting to see how 0x10c turns out. My mind is already running rampage on the idea that it might be somewhat similar to EVE Online, but maybe be a game my friends actually would like to play with me.
