Freud’s Bones point and click coming to Kickstarter

freud's bones point and click coming to Kickstarter on windows pc linux mac with a demo

Freud’s Bones point and click coming to Kickstarter on Windows PC, with hopes for Linux and Mac too. Thanks to indie developer Fortuna Imperatore, aka the wonderous Alex Fox. Due to release the crowdfunding campaign next month.

Freud’s Bones is the first point and click story driven game. Due to pay homage to Sigmund Freud and the birth of psychoanalysis and founder. Also addressing the themes of sexuality and neuroses. While reflecting on the existence of doubts.

So let your patients lay down on the most famous couch of all times. So they can confess their secrets and lewd fantasies. As well as their most painful stresses. Then help them find themselves. This is the mantra of the Freud’s Bones gameplay to come.

Linux Support:

The engine I used is Visionaire.
A lot depends on the success of the Kickstarter campaign and the funds. I’m an indie-only-dev and of course I’d like to bring this game on Linux and Mac too!

Since the Visionaire does have native support for Linux. This is a good sign. But again, as an indie developer Alex Fox hopes for crowdfunding success. Which would allow her the chance to also expand platform support to Linux.
But there is a chance to experience the Freud’s Bones story now. Which you can try for yourself in the Free Demo just for Subscribing on Kickstarter.

Freud’s Bones the game on Kickstarter

Here’s how to play on Linux:

  • unrar e DemoFreud'sBones.rar /home/
  • cd “compiled/”
  • wine freud_compiled.exe, game on

In Freud’s Bones you will play the role of the Austrian psychoanalyst. Tormented by eternal doubts and existential questions. To the point of being possessed by an inner voice. That will be none other than the gamers’ themselves.

Freud’s Bones release is coming to Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign, July 6th for Windows PC. Sign up and support the game to become a beta-tester. Then take the free demo for a spin on Linux.
