Game Master Plus RPG releases in Steam games for Linux, Mac and Windows. Available now from developer Great Potion Games. This is the expanded and streamlined RPG Maker MV remake of Game Master (RPG Maker VX Ace, 2014) on Steam.
The story of Game Master Plus follows Elsa. A spirited teen-age girl who has just moved to a small town called Home with her mother. Who naturally sets out on a quest full of mysteries to unravel.
Why does the ancient game board in the Slumberwoods work only for you? What does the Elder know about it? Who was that guy they call the ‘Wizard’, and could he maybe still exist?
So the beginning of the story will have you choosing one of two classes. Since each class has different skills and, occasionally, slightly different events taking place in the game world.
Do you want to get up-close and personal as a Fighter? Maybe a dual-wielding electrified viking blades? Or will you play the supporter’s role of a Tinker, healing and buffing your robotic allies?
Then things evolve from here. Since you can configure the skill of your actors whenever you like. Choosing between an array of large number of powerful skills. While you can find the perfect setup for the enemy type you encounter. And also make sure to take advantage of skill synergies. This will help players defeat even the hardest bosses.
The art style and gameplay also seems to have a rather familiar vibe to it. But the price is affordable if you want to get into a decent RPG adventure. Since this includes roughly 10 hours of gameplay, not bad.
