The newly-revived #Sierra has announced Geometry Wars 3: Dimensions Evolved, an update for Lucid Games’ fast-paced twin-stick #arcade #shooter.
The new update to Geometry Wars 3: Dimensions adds 40 new stages to Adventure Mode, new boss battles, dynamic 3D grid shapes, expanded Classic Mode, powerful drones & supers, “Hardcore” mode, and Local Co-op plus Online Multiplayer modes. And the previous levelling system has also been updated to make it easier for players to progress into more unlock modes.
The Hardcore mode now lets you play 20 dedicated levels without using a drone or super and it supports individual leaderboards.
Evolved is a free download for existing Geometry Wars 3: Dimensions and will be available on March 31st for Linux, Mac, Windows PC via Steam. Along with PlayStation 4 and PS3. While the launch for Xbox One and Xbox 360 takes place April 1st.
Geometry Wars 3: Dimensions becomes Geometry Wars 3: Dimensions Evolved for new players when the update comes out, including over 100 levels, and will be sold for the same price.
