Gigapocalypse 2D fighter game port for Linux is still on the to-do list after the Windows PC launch. According to recent developer details from Goody Gameworks. Which is discounted on both Steam and Humble Store right now. Along with 98% Very Positive reviews.
Goody Gameworks announced the Gigapocalypse full release in November 2021. Which is also the game that PC Invasion said “is absolutely worth it”, with its roster of monsters and maps. While the developer now adds further details regarding the Linux build.
I’m sorry to start like a broken record about porting the game to Linux. But I still have this goal in my to-do list, its just all the porting the game to other platform is prioritized first.
The developer comments continue since our initial post about the Gigapocalypse Linux support. But now we have a further update for a native port. At least keeping the community informed that a port is still in the works. Although not the top priority at the moment. Plan B of course is Proton. But personally, I’m waiting patiently for the native Linux build.
