Goat Simulator to become an MMO for Linux, Mac and Windows PC?

One of the most delightfully #weirdgames to come out this year is Goat Simulator, which will now receive a #freeexpansion later this month, transforming the #release into a massively multiplayer online game, developer Coffee Stain Studios revealed today. The sociopathic goat rampaging through a small town known for its slapstick physics, intentionally awful glitches, and predilection for explosions.

Why fantasy? Why multiplayer? Why is a walking microwave one of the choices for character class (the others being Tank, Magician, Hunter, “Rouge,” and plain ol’ goat)? Looking at the debut trailer, it seems all the madcap physics and bizarre bugs are present. The level cap is 101, sheep and goat factions are at war, and there are mermaids.

Actually, this is probably the only scene that matters. This is everything you need to know about Goat Simulator:

The MMO-styled Goat MMO Simulator release launches on November 20 as free downloadable content through Steam for those who already own the original title on Windows PC. Goat MMO Simulator will also be playable on Linux and Mac with full controller support.
