Good Company tycoon management is coming to Windows PC but also has a Linux update. Thanks to Stuttgart-based developer Chasing Carrots. The management simulation games due appear on Steam Early Access, March 31st. And we have more details regarding native support. Since the game is due to arrive on Humble Store, GOG and Steam Early Access.
Good Company makes you the CEO of your own company. As tycoon simulations fans will certainly feel at home. The game constantly puts your leadership skills to the test. Since you have to expand the workforce. Also, deputy tasks and optimize the operational structure. And hopefully complete automation of various processes.
Since is due to see changes, thanks to Early Access. And of course, we reached out to Chasing Carrots regarding Linux. As the Good Company release is fast approaching. And so far, the recent update brings good news.
Linux Support Update:
In regards to the Linux support. It is still definitely something we want to work on in the future. This should not be that big of a problem.
We have reports from our community. That Good Company already runs fine on Linux with Proton and Wine. But those are surely not the optimal solutions. A native Linux version will be the best. And hopefully we will deliver that before the final release.
Since the Early Access release is coming fast for Good Company. The game is also due to arrive on Windows PC on March 31st. Expecting to stay in Early Access somewhere between 8 and 14 months. But as stated in the recent email update, Proton support works well. Chasing Carrots have issued a Steam code and I can confirm, it runs really well. And as stated above, a native Linux release would be best. And it’s coming, but obviously closer to the full release.
