GRAVEN FPS holds hope for a native port

graven first person puzzler game holds hope for a native port for linux with windows pc

GRAVEN first person puzzler game holds hope for a native port for Linux with Windows PC. Thanks to the help and support of developer Slipgate Ironworks. Which is still going strong on Steam Early Access, GOG, and Humble Store.

GRAVEN the dark fantasy action adventure FPS gets another big update. A game this is also co-published by 3D Realms/Fulqrum Publishing and developed by Slipgate Ironworks. Which now releases its third and final major update via Steam and GOG. Doing so ahead of a full release on Windows PC and even Linux in 2023.

So here’s the story behind GRAVEN and Linux support. The game is using Unreal Engine 4 for development. But, “for the Linux version, this is something we’ll consider at the end of the early access with the 1.0 release.”
Meaning, this is not a hard confirmation. Since the game is currently in Early Access, we will have to wait until version 1.0 in 2023. At this point, we should be able to expect a native build of the game. Until that time, show some Linux love in the Forum thread.

GRAVEN – Early Access Content Update 3

For this last update, Slipgate has concocted some new features perfect for Halloween:

  • Wander through the winding, flooded repository beneath the Library of Cruxfirth in GRAVEN. This is also the first of three hubs launching in the full game
  • A new side quest to unravel
  • New pickups and breakables to discover
  • The devious new Skeleton Sapper enemy
  • Proof of the afterlife among the most unfortunate denizens of Cruxfirth

To prepare for the upcoming GRAVEN 1.0 launch. The teams have focused on refining several features. Such as enhanced combat and AI, improving the Archivist, and the Festering Congregation battles. While adding two new difficulty options, Casual and Flagellant.

Available now on PC, GRAVEN sets players on a dark pilgrimage. Doing so as a disgraced Priest hunting down heretics. Wield sorcery and common weaponry to wipe out untold horrors, either solo or with up to four players. Explore a reactive world inspired by immersive sims. Since the answers must be sought out with creative thinking and mindful prowess.

GRAVEN action first person puzzler game is out now on Steam Early Access, GOG, and Humble Store. Priced at $19.99 USD / $19.99 / 16,79€ with the 20% discount. Offering support for Windows PC, but decent Proton support for Linux.
