Gray Dawn is a new religious horror game. Where players take on the role of Father Abraham. A Swedish-born priest who is on the quest to prove his innocence before he hears the swoosh of the guillotine.
“Regarding the Linux version of the game. A possible Linux port might be something we will consider at a later date, after launch for Windows PC’s.”
So this state comes third party. But the Steam Discussions also outline the same detail. Which means we will have a Linux release, likely based on sales. But also based on the Steam reviews.
Which is reasonable, since indie releases often have that stigma. Releasing their title and not porting to further platforms unless demand is there.

Travel back in time to Christmas Eve, 1910, where you’re suspected of murdering one of your altar boys. You find yourself trapped in the middle of strange events that involve demonic possession and divine apparitions.
In this first-person atmospheric thriller, you will be kept on the edge of your seat from start to finish. You will interact with objects and solve puzzles that will help you progress in your quest to find out the mystery behind the missing boy.
Throughout the game you will explore both real and unreal universes that will bring you in the middle of the war between delusion and truth.
Plays will be part of a terrifying adventure as a priest on a quest to prove his innocence. Guilty or not, you find yourself trapped in the middle of strange events involving a demonic possession and divine apparitions.

Each time you remember the boy or hear about suggestions of murder, you go into a trance of fear. These moments of madness depict gore, repulsion towards God, and sometimes even the voice of the devil himself trying to convince you of things that may or may not be lies…
Gray Dawn takes place around the year 1920, in a remote village in England. Throughout the game, you will often be transported to the beautiful world of Romania, which is inspired by the mysticism of Eastern Europe.
Gray Dawn first person horror will have a release on Steam in June 7th, 2018 for Windows. While that Linux release will likely follow.
Interactive Stone, the dev team behind Gray Dawn met while working together in a previous company. Before banding together and forming Interactive Stone. Over time, they turned their attention towards game development and started to produce small games. Then, they decided to make something more daring, something bigger: Gray Dawn.
Drawing their inspiration from old horror games such as Alone in the Dark, Silent Hill, the Resident Evil Games, and much more. In order to make sure that you embarked on a journey that will stick with you forever, they included foreign and forbidden mysteries of cultures around the world.
