Helheim Hassle story adventure gets native on Linux along with Mac and Windows PC. Thanks to developer Perfectly Paranormal. Due to release the puzzle platformer on both Humble Store and Steam this August.
So back in May we brought you news about Helheim Hassle. Thanks to Norway-based developer Perfectly Paranormal. Who are certainly eager to share more good news. Announcing their new body desecration puzzle platformer is coming soon. Which is due to release on Tuesday, August 18th. Arriving on Steam for Mac and Windows PC. But now we have an email reply that also includes Linux.
Just wanted to let you know that Helheim Hassle now supports Ubuntu 16 and newer.
Okay, so it’s Ubuntu and not all distro’s of Linux. But still, support is welcomed. Since the developers are certainly doing some testing of their own. And the August 18th, 2020 release date will include support.

Helheim Hassle is a comedic yet grim story adventure game. Which is also coming from the same universe as previous hit Manual Samuel. A game that is as much about friendship as it is about body parts. You play as Bjørn, a pacifist Viking who hates the idea of dying and going to Valhalla. Who also ends up dying and getting taken to Valhalla. So he negotiates his way out while helping the mysterious Pesto. All on a quest to retrieve a certain magical item. Likewise, in return, Pesto will try to grant Bjørn a permanent residence in Helheim – what a hassle!
Players will be tasked with completing up to 70 quests over 14 levels. Requiring the use of all manner of different body part combos So you can complete Helheim Hassle ’s unique puzzle platforming challenges. On this adventure, players will come into contact with 80 different characters from all walks of life (and death). This ranges from frustrated god souls, bear ghosts, dragons, elves, dwarves and blue-collar goblins. All with voice overs by 24 professional voice actors delivering 3,700 lines of spoken dialogue!
