Hot Lava the parkour platformer now has a Sign up for the beta on Steam for Windows, no Linux yet. So naturally we reached out to Klei Entertainment for details. And it looks like we will get Linux support.
Linux release:
“We have running versions on both Mac and Linux, but we need to confirm stability. We also want to exclude system specific issues in our testing at the moment.
But you should be able to expect a future update, during the beta phase that adds support for these platforms.”
So over these last few months the Klei Entertainment team has been busy. While hiding in their secret volcano lair in preparation to unleash Hot Lava to the public. While, the official launch is still a ways off. The team is eager to announce that they are rolling out the first stress test. Since this will arrive on April 3rd through April 10th for Windows.
Therefore, players who signed up on the initial beta registration. Will also have first priority in order according to when they signed up. So the first wave of participants will be admitted on April 3rd.
Which means about 2,000 players will take part in the testing. Future, larger waves of players will follow in additional phases.
