Hotline Miami 2 will be getting a #new level editor, going into #public beta on December 10th, according to the Dennaton Games announcement. However the editor will only be available for Windows PC via #Steam, “the editor will support Mac and Linux later on.”
All content will be unlocked immediately. Workshop support will be added at a later date and users will have to share level folders manually at the beginning of the beta. With the full version expected sometime in later January.
Unfortunately, Dennaton does not promise that anything players create during the beta will be carried over with the full editor launch.
According to an blog post announcing the editor, the suite will eventually makes it’s way to Linux and Mac.
