Human took my Neighbors new top down action game Demo and Kickstarter coming soon for Linux, Mac and Windows PC. Thanks to developer Carlos Garza. Which already has a Steam page and we have Linux confirmation.
Human took my Neighbors is a retro inspired top down action game. All due to the creative efforts of Carlos Garza. Which is due to bring the nostalgic campy arcade horror to Linux, Mac and Windows PC. Along with a Kickstarter campaign Demo and Trailer.
Carlos Garza also released a Linux Demo by request back in October 2020. Still unsure about support, it seems now we will have a Linux build for the Kickstarter campaign. And the Demo on Itch.io also has a native build now. Which you can play ahead of the Kickstarter campaign due to launch this month. Plus, the demo even includes controller support too.
Just extract the game zip files. Then using a Terminal, cd into the “HTMNDEMOLINUX” directory. Make the
HTMNDEMO.x86_64 executable with
chmod +x HTMNDEMO.x86_64. Launching the demo via
./HTMNDEMO.x86_64 and enjoy.
Human took my Neighbors starts off in Monsternett year 19XX. While al the monsters are getting ready for their Halloween celebration. When suddenly… humans start appearing from portals. Not totally ruining the vibe and taking all the monsters to the Human World. While leaving it up to Anthony and Fenrietta, who are proud members of the monster squad. That now have to save the remaining neighbors and find the cause for this madness.
Use a variety of weapons to face the Human menace. Such as Anthony’s yoyo, Fenrietta’s bat, guns filled with unholy water, even frisbees. Anything goes when facing the Humans.
