The Humble Indie Bundle #4, which just launched yesterday, is off to a really great start. In less than 24 hours this collection of cross-platform indie games has pulled in more than one million dollars.
As of publishing there is a reported $1,090,229.18 worth of payments from 205,219 patrons. With the Humble Indie Bundles allowing gamers to pay whatever they want for the collection of games, the current average price is at $5.31 USD. The average price Windows users are paying is $4.80, Mac OS X gamers are at $7.11, and Linux users are up to $9.79.
If this sales rate remains anything close to where it’s at now, it will easily smash the two million dollars pulled in by Humble Indie Bundle #3, which has been the group’s top grosser.
The collection of the games this time around includes Jamestown, Bit.Trip Runner, Super Meat Boy, Shank, and NightSky HD. If paying more than the floating average, Gratuitous Space Battles and Cave Story+ are also thrown in the bundle.
