Jumpala is a new fast paced fighting game coming this year on Linux, Mac and Windows PC. Thanks to independent development studio Yokereba. Who also getting ready for Steam Early Access later this year.

Yokereba are planning to release their fast-paced multiplayer competitive platformer. The game is called Jumpala (jum-PAH-lah) and due to release this year on Steam. But the studio are unsure how long the game will remain in Early Access. And will add more characters and stages. Of course, also add more polish and stability to the gameplay.

Jumpala Jump on platforms to turn them your color. All while you collect points before reaching the top. Build your Special Meter to activate your character’s special moves. And hopefully, try not to fall off the stage. Jumpala is a tricky game but looks fun.

Jumpala – Multiplayer Competitive Platforming

“As with my previous game, Jumpala is a love letter to Spryjinx. A game I played as a child,” says Makario Lewis, solo dev at Yokereba. “I wanted to capture the feelings I had when playing Spryjinx. And add some modern twists like special abilities and cool characters.”

  • CPUs, or compete against others in online 1v1s.
  • Easy to learn, tough to master. If you want to be the best at Jumpala, you’ll have to plan your routes. Above all, practice your timing, and perfect your positioning. All while being mindful of your opponents.
  • A wide variety of stages. Since each stage has unique features and hazards to watch out for.
  • Original set of characters. Each character has their own unique abilities and playstyle.

Jumpala fast paced fighting will release in Early Access in December 2020. Due to include four playable characters, five stages, local and online play. Including keyboard and gamepad support. Available on Linux, Mac and Windows PC.
