Kalypso Media Group GmbH has been #awarded the German #Developer Award for ‘Best German Publisher’ for the second year in a row. Based out of their headquarters in Worms (Germany) with additional offices in Germany, the UK and US, Kalypso Media prevailed against several renowned competitors in order to win the prestigious award. In addition, the publisher’s 2015 strategy title Grand Ages: Medieval also took home the award for ‘Best Game Design.’

In a festive gala in front of 450 invited guests, the German Developer Awards 2015 was held yesterday in Cologne, Germany. In 17 categories, each of the winners were awarded for their achievements for the year. Publishers, developers, politicians, media representatives and other VIPs provided the framework for one of the most important prizes in a steadily growing industry.
Kalypso Media was nominated for 11 awards in total, with titles such as Crookz – The Grand Heist, Dungeons 2 and Grand Ages: Medieval all receiving nominations across categories including ‘Best Publisher’ (Kalypso Media), ‘Best Game Design’ (Grand Ages: Medieval) and ‘Best Graphics’ (Grand Ages: Medieval and Dungeons 2).
