Kentucky Route Zero to receive The Final Act

kentucky route zero to receive the final act on linux mac windows pc

Kentucky Route Zero will receive The Final Act V for Linux, Mac and Windows PC. Thanks to developer Cardboard Computer who will launch the remaining Act V. Coming free for anyone who owns the game on Humble Store, Steam or GOG.

Kentucky Route Zero is a magical realist adventure game (2013). While following a secret highway in the caves beneath Kentucky. And those mysterious folks who travel it. Gameplay also takes inspiration from point and click adventure games. Such as titles like the classic Monkey Island or King’s Quest series. Or the somewhat recently Telltale’s Walking Dead series.
And as a result, the gameplay focuses more on characterization, atmosphere and storytelling. Rather than just clever puzzles or challenges of skill. So now…. we can expect to see Act V, the Final Act

The Cardboard Computer post about the Final Act V

We’re so happy to share that Kentucky Route Zero will be updated. With the conclusion of the story, Act V on January 28, 2020. This huge update also includes the free ‘interludes’ we released between episodes, localization (French, Italian, German, Spanish (Lat. Am. & European), Russian, Korean & Japanese), and many other fixes and improvements.

Therefore, I’m eager for January 28th. Since the game was originally designed for five episodes. Along with companion “interludes.” So that all five episodes and interludes will be available together.
