KICKSTARTER Game: Retro Skate

Not all ideas are created equal, I’m a firm believer in that. Salt Lake Local’s Fryza LLC, are working to create an 8bit skating experience tied to TMNT, Road Rash, Skate or Die and, TC Surf Sport that will make your mobile devices fly, Retro Skate.

Currently they are sitting at $7300 of $15000 needed to hit their goal, and get this game to us by March 2013. The greatest part about the experience is that along with the game they’ll be launching a full skateboard line including: helmets, pads, decks, and clothing.

They will be releasing the game on Android, iOS, Ouya (who happens to be backing the project), PC. and Linux. Rarely are there Kickstarter projects that have such an incredible opportunity to open a gaming genre like this, and it’s rare that I gush about one. These guys are dedicated gamers, that want to see a genre they love succeed.
