Kona adventure survival now available on Early Access with discount

The #power is cutting out. A thick layer of ice and snow covers Manastan. Packs of wolves hunt for #creatures weakened by the cold. Only the bravest wander outside during the violent, unexpected #blizzard―but these days, the small town feels even quieter than usual.

Kona is available now at 33% off on Steam Early Access! Set in the 1970s, this surreal interactive tale will have you explore, investigate, and occasionally fight the elements to uncover the strange events that befell the area.

A simple case of vandalism is what brought private detective Carl Faubert to Atamipek Lake in Manastan. Now, with only his trusty pickup truck and whatever resources he can find in the seemingly empty town, Carl begins an investigation that will have chills run down his spine. In the dangerous Canadian north, it’s up to him to see this case through.

  • Step into a surreal interactive tale of mystery and investigate the perplexing quietness in the entire town.
  • Explore a vast, frigid Northern environment and battle the elements to survive.
  • Complete the first of four distinct acts, each offering between three to five hours of gameplay.
  • Enjoy the atmospheric soundtrack featuring music by Quebec folk band Curé Label.
  • Experience the tale through the omniscient, third-person storyteller.
  • Go back in time with a vintage look and feel reminiscent of 1970s rural communities.

Kona is out today on Steam Early Access and is also available on GOG as a game in development. It heads into full release later in 2016 across Linux, Mac, and Windows PC. And right now only the Windows release is available until further notice, however, the discount is well worth the purchase.
