Lair of the Clockwork God Point and Click adventure and platformer game releases for Windows PC, but delivers a Linux support. Thanks to developer Size Five Games. The games also doing well on Steam with Very Positive reviews.
Over a decade in the making. Size Five Games has finally released Lair of the Clockwork God‘. Which is also a brand new standalone adventure in the Dan and Ben series. Which features the hit games “Ben There, Dan That!” and “Time Gentlemen, Please!” Which do not have Linux support. But it looks like a native build is due to make a release.
The game’s made in Unity. I’m hoping to get to work on a Linux port this week.
Lair of the Clockwork God follow BEN, an old school LucasArts point and click adventure fanboy. So his feet never leave the ground. And he’s also the happiest collecting junk for his inventory and combining items to solve puzzles. DAN has come to the conclusion that there’s no money to be made in point and click adventures. Therefore, he’s determined to become the next hit indie darling platformer instead.
Lair of the Clockwork God – Trailer
Together, Dan and Ben will each use their own unique characteristics Lair of the Clockwork God. With gameplay style to help the other out. And save the world from all the Apocalypses happening outside.
“We first started throwing around ideas for a third Dan and Ben game over 10 years ago” said writer, star, and ‘best one out of the Dan and Ben adventures’ Dan Marshall. “It’s been a long gruelling road, but I’m over the moon to finally share this weird, funny little creation of ours with the world.”
PLEASE NOTE: no need to have played the original adventures. You can leap right into this one as it’s completely standalone and not a sequel.
Lair of the Clockwork God Point and Click adventure and platformer is available on Windows PC. But a Linux build is live. Priced $19.99 USD plus a 10% launch discount.
