Life is Strange: Before the Storm launch date for Linux and Mac is now available. Since Feral Interactive recently announced that the highly successful, award-winning narrative adventure game, will release on September 13th, 2018.
While originally developed by Deck Nine and published by Square Enix on Windows and console. Life is Strange: Before the Storm is a standalone story set three years before 2015’s BAFTA Award-winning Life Is Strange. And considering the Steam reviews, holding a Very Positive 89%.
Mind you, my only gripe here is the timing of the Linux release from Feral Interactive. Since the announcement for native support was back in March of 2018. And now we into September for the Linux debut, almost 6 months later. And over a year past the original release on Steam.

Life is Strange: Before the Storm follows the unlikely friendship between Chloe Price. The rebellious sixteen-year-old, and Rachel Amber, a popular student destined for success.
When Rachel discovers a family secret that threatens to destroy her world. Her newfound friendship with Chloe gives her strength. While no longer alone, Chloe and Rachel must confront each other’s demons and find a way to overcome them.
As Chloe, players’ choices will shape a branching story with multiple endings influenced by their decisions. Players take control of confrontations with Backtalk. A risk and reward-based conversation system in which Chloe uses her barbed tongue to provoke or get her way. Express Chloe’s defiant personality by tagging the world with witty art. Also picking her style of clothing, to which other characters react.
The game features a licensed indie soundtrack, and an original score by Daughter.
Life is Strange: Before the Storm consists of three episodes. All of which are contained in a single bundle. The game will also be available as Life is Strange: Before the Storm – Deluxe Edition, which comprises all three episodes along with all available additional content, including the bonus episode “Farewell”.
