Light Fall 2D platformer will release March 2018 on Steam for Windows and Mac, but no Linux support. Since we reached out to developer Bishop Games we do have some clarification about the release.
Linux support:
“Nothing new for Linux yet. It will most definitely stay this way until release. As for the exact date of March, an announcement will be made soon.
We are strongly interested in a Linux version, but the truth is that with our limited manpower it won’t happen at launch.”
So this is not an uncommon issue. Mind you the developers do outline that small development team. So keeping launch issue minimized will be the focus. And we also do not have an official release date yet. But the Linux release is coming. That much we do have confirmation for. So we’re excited to hopefully get into some gameplay soon.
Light Fall is one of the most anticipated indie games of the year. Since the game features a unique game mechanic. Also compelling storyline and beautiful art style.
Light Fall has earned multiple industry accolades. Including winning Best Hardcore Game at the Game Connection Development Awards. This was at Game Connection Europe 2017 during Paris Game Week.
