Allspace 100 player battle releases this June

allspace 100 player battle releases this june linux mac windows games

Allspace put plays in epic 100 player online multiplayer space battle, the games coming to Linux, Mac and Windows. So you can shred space ships with lasers, plasma, and missiles on January 22rd.

Since Allspace has a unique but classic vibe. Which somewhat reminds me of the classic Star Wars games. While competing with up to 100 players in a giant online battle, trying to blast one another into smithereens.

So the whole concept of the game has my attention. The gameplay seems to resemble that of the developer Shiloh Games previous title, Disputed Space. Even the pilot layout visuals look the same in Allspace. Along with the same 360 degree field of movement. But the game has some success on Steam as a local co-op and multiplayer on Windows. So it’s a pleasure to see Shiloh ramping the gameplay up a few levels. Check out the trailer below to get a straight forward look at what you can expect.

Allspace Trailer (Linux, Mac, Windows)

Features:

  • First Person Space Pilot
  • Online Multiplayer with support for up to 100 players
  • Highly Optimized (150+ FPS on a modern gaming PC)

Allspace is expecting to be in Early Access for 6 – 9 months for player feedback. While the developers adds in more game modes and features. But there is no mention of ship upgrades, mod support or even weapon types.

“The game is not 100% polished, but a lot of the optimization work has been done. So it runs at a very smooth framerate. Additionally, the network code has been developed specifically for Allspace, and already highly optimized.”

Gameplay

Allspace will release with support for a 100 player Deathmatch battle. Additional game modes, including team modes, will be added during Early Access. Since the developer encourages players to join the Discussion forums, suggest new mode ideas and features.

Supports Keyboard, Mouse, Controller, and Joysticks

All keyboard, mouse, controller, and joystick controls can be re-mapped to suit each player‘s unique play style. Probably one of the saving graces of the title so far.

While there is no word on the games price for the Early Access release yet. Allspace full release going to be available for Linux, Mac and Windows on June 3rd, 2019. A title worth playing since it is free to play.
