Amygdala is an indie action platformer for Linux, Mac and Windows PC, about a man that had his body stolen. Setting out on an adventure as a disembodied head, hell-bent on revenge in a procedurally generated world. While permadeath sets a new tone as players face off against swordheads, voidpigs, giant swarms of beez and the wizard that stole your body. Learn and survive. Avoid traps. Watch wildlife get in fights, shoot mindbullets, poop bricks, it never ends but only gets harder.

Developers MachineSpirit have put he bare minimum amount of tutorials and help to make people stop complaining. If you get hit with no energy or fall off the world you die, game over, start from square one. There’s a lot to investigate in these worlds so go look up the answers in the manual, there is no spoon feeding players with hints.
