the crow’s eye first-person puzzle horror could see a linux port

While set against a backdrop of psychological #terror, The Crow’s Eye is a #firstperson #adventure developed in Unity. Where the player controls a young man trapped in the abandoned Crowswood University. Hence what was once a reputed medical college. This is a complex story narrated through documents, recordings and radio. Since gameplay focuses around the experiences of a policemen and professors. Twenty years ago they were involved in a series of mysterious disappearances. So in order to escape, the player is forced to investigate his relation to obscure facts. Then decipher the enigmas that his stay there implies. Along the way he will find more than one reason to remain at Crowswood.

Linux release:

“Hi Todd!

Our priority is Windows. However, we want to release the game on Mac and Linux too, but only when we know that the game runs perfectly on these platforms. We’ll do [everything] possible to have the game on Linux.”

Once again, we have another developer keen to release a stable port. Not that 3D2 Entertainment would not benefit from a solid day-one Linux release. But again, and I’ve said this before, making sure everything is running smooth on one platform takes priority. Small development studios do not have the manpower.
