Fort Triumph developer releases the games June update and a launch date for Linux, Mac and Windows PC. Thanks to CookieByte Entertainment. A tactical RPG that hold an 84% Positive score on Steam Early Access.

All in Games announced it will be bringing the final version of Fort Triumph. Since the games still a Kickstarter and Early Access hit for Linux, Mac and Windows PC. Also Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Scheduled for launch in Q1 2020.
While all Kickstarter fans who backed the PC version. Will also be able to get an additional PS4 or Xbox One key for free. Not a bad deal if you play on console as well.

The news comes with a series of significant updates to the game. This includes a major June update to the Early Access version. Which also includes a ton of additions. Such as a new story act and a skirmish mode. Plus more heroes and abilities for Fort Triumph. As well as new localisations to German, Polish and Russian languages.

Fort Triumph Major Update – June (Linux, Mac, Windows PC)

“As those of you following our Fort Triumph progress know. It has always been our priority to open the gates ever wider for new adventurers. It started on day 1 when we chose to always release builds. Both for Mac and Linux along with the Windows PC ones. It will continue in the future with the planned console versions. But we’re celebrating our first three localized versions. For German, Polish and Russian.” – wrote developer CookieByte Entertainment in the latest Kickstarter Update.

New and improved in the June update:

    • Story Campaign – Act 1 of 3
    • Male heroes – New male hero models
    • Faction Heroes – Humans, Goblins, Trolls & Undead
    • Deeper Strategic gameplay – More buildings, locations, units & artefacts
    • Skirmish Mode for Fort Triumph
    • Procedural map generation & the Caves environment – Caves are now playable on Skirmish with special procedurally generated maps
    • New Abilities – Chain Lightning, Holy Shackles, Bolster & many more
    • Localization – German, Polish, Russian

Fort Triumph launch is coming in Q1 2020. So it will be a while. But it’s also impressive to see Linux support continuing. While the June update itself brings some fine changes. Get into some gameplay yourself via Steam Early Access.
