fractured sandbox mmorpg q and a coming this week for linux mac windows

Fractured is a SpatialOS-based sandbox MMORPG for Linux, Mac and Windows on Kickstarter with a live Q and A this week. This will be available on July 3rd. According to the recent announcement this includes replies from Dynamight CEO Jacopo Gallell.

So first, here is the official announcement. And I have to admit, I’m looking forward to Fractured. A sandbox MMORPG on a large scale environment looks solid.

Q and A Post:

Got a few questions about survival elements and the meaning of travel in Fractured? Interested in having Dynamight CEO Jacopo Gallelli replying to them, live? You’re in luck – the 2nd Fractured live Q&A is coming!

The livestream will take place on YouTube on Tuesday, July 3rd, from 10pm CEST (4pm EDT / 1pm PDT)!

To tune in, just click on this YouTube link a few minutes before the time announced above – we can chat a little before the Q&A session begins!

The topic has been discussed in past spotlights such as this one, but not mentioned often enough since then. If you want to get your questions ready before the stream, you can leave them in this forum thread or simply as a comment to this update.

Fractured MMO | Survival & Travel Q&A Livestream

Fractured sandbox MMORPG Kickstarter Trailer (Linux, Mac, Windows)

Fractured in the first developer journal highlights the Three Races and Three Gameplays. Also explaining how the team plans to revolutionize the concept of “race” in the MMO genre. Using it to cater to the needs of peaceful/cooperative and aggressive/competitive players alike. If you haven’t checked this out already, check it out.

This is also the first MMO where the race you belong to has an actual impact on game mechanics. From the type of society you live in to the ways you can interact with other players.

Fractured gameplay mixes action combat with fully interactable environments. Which appeals equally to competitive and cooperative gaming. Jump right into the fray from day one. Since gameplay will have you defeating your enemies through your own skill and cleverness, not equipment or level.

Also, if you have not yet, check out the Kickstarter for Linux, Mac and Windows. Which is sitting at $46,387 of the $117,015 pledge goal.
