Graveyard Keeper is coming this year

Graveyard Keeper cemetery management sim coming this year in linux mac windows game

Graveyard Keeper is in fact coming this year to Linux, Mac and Windows to Steam. Also one of the most inaccurate medieval cemetery management sim’s.

So gameplay is about building and managing your own graveyard. While finding shortcuts to cut costs, expand into entertainment with witch-burning festivals. Scaring nearby villagers into attending church. This is a game of capitalism and doing whatever it takes to build a thriving business. Which still does not have a release.

Linux and a release date:

“We don’t have a date yet! But it’s some time this year 🙂

If it’s easily doable from the developer’s side, I don’t see why not!”

So this reply comes directly from tinyBuild. They are issuing news for the new trailer. Which you can check out below. But still do not have a release date yet. It’s been a year since we last issued a news post, outlining a summer 2017 release.
However, it does appear that a Linux build will happen on day-one. Since platform support is available on Steam.

Since the game has been in a long crunch for the past year. tinyBuild are gathering a lot of feedback from showcasing gameplay between GDC, PAX South/East/West.

So now, ut’s time to share the progress and reveal the gameplay. The Gameplay Reveal Trailer showcases 5 minutes of brand new content. Featuring cemetery building, dungeon exploration and plenty of questionable ethics.

About Graveyard Keeper

  • Face ethical dilemmas. Do you really want to spend money on that proper hotdog meat for the festival when you have so many resources lying around?
  • Gather valuable resources & craft new items. Expand your Graveyard into a thriving business, go ahead and gather valuable resources scattered in the surrounding areas, and explore what this land has to offer.
  • Make business alliances. These dead bodies don’t need all that blood, do they? Why not sell it to someone who can put it to good use.
  • Same for body parts. Hey, it’s being efficient with recycling!
  • Explore mysterious dungeons. No medieval game would be complete without these. Take a trip into the unknown and find useful new ingredients which may or may not poison a whole bunch of nearby villagers. Capitalism.
  • As usual, any coverage on this trailer is highly appreciated! Something as simple as sharing this tweet helps a lot 🙂

Coming to Steam:

Graveyard Keeper is coming to Steam for Linux Mac and Windows. We do not have a release date yet or pricing. So stay tuned for more details.
